The Political
Although I make my living as a Digital Strategist + Political Consultant, I am deeply involved in the progressive political and activist space. After the 2016 Election (and after pulling myself out of the dark hole that I crawled into), I became active in a few local political organizations that entrusted me—this wide-eyed, political novice who had zero experience in this realm—with running their social media (aka #tokenmillennial).
Fast-forward to today, I have now served as the Communications/Digital Director for several local and statewide political organizations and campaigns, received extensive training in Digital Organizing from the DNC and top trainers in the field, attended and organized several large political/advocacy events, and ran a State Senate campaign during the 2018 election cycle. Currently, I serve as the Vice Chair and Digital Director for Persistence PAC.
In addition to my political organizing and activism endeavors, I am also the former co-host of Alabama Politics This Week (February 2020-February 2021), an occasional political analyst on WAAY-31, and a regular guest on a few radio shows on WVNN 92.5 FM.
My goal is not only to do all that I can to help further the Progressive Movement in Alabama but also to encourage and inspire others—especially the younger generations—to find their own voice and show them that they, too, can get involved and make a difference.
