Activism

The thing I hear most often from people who aren’t already involved in activism isn’t that they don’t want to be but rather that they feel incredibly overwhelmed/intimidated or don’t even know where to start—and I get that. So with that in mind, I thought I would create this page to include various organizations and non-profits (Alabama-based + national) grouped (and linked!) by their respective issue/topic in hopes of it being a resource for those looking to get involved in some way or for those who are already involved but looking for other areas to branch out into. Whether big or small, we all have a role to play.
There is a place for you—you just have to show up.
