Although I have been working in the Digital Organizing/Strategy space for over seven years, in late 2022 I took a giant leap in my career by becoming a full-time freelancer after being let go from my “regular” 9-5 job of nine years and I haven’t looked back.
In that time, I have worked on and consulted with dozens of small and large organizations, nonprofits, campaigns, and companies with the goal of leveraging my extensive knowledge, experience, and training to build, run, and maintain successful digital campaigns. What I love most about what I do is helping clients identify and hone their voices through thoughtful storytelling and highlighting what makes them who they are and what they do unique to them.
In January 2024, I accepted a full-time role with Global Ties Alabama as the Community Relations & Referral Specialist for their newly launched Refugee Resettlement Program — North Alabama’s first official refugee resettlement agency. This program is designed to provide assistance and support to refugees who have been forced to flee their home countries due to persecution, conflict, or other forms of violence, and I am incredibly honored and grateful to be doing this important work in my community.
